Welcome to Kludge, the information security and networking club of IIT Hyderabad!
Our mission is to provide a forum for students to explore and deepen their understanding of the fields of information security and networking. Through a variety of events, workshops, and talks, we aim to foster a community of learners and practitioners who are passionate about these rapidly evolving fields. The world of information security and networking can be daunting, but here at Kludge, we’re here to help.

About Us
Our philosophy
- With increase of our time in cyberspace, information security is an essential skill, not only for Engineers but everyone!
- Network Security is the most important domain of web architecture in today's world, and with the advent of WEB3.0 and the blockchain combined with decentralization (DAPP's and like), it has become more important and relevant than ever before.
Our Mission
- Try to make IITH Society more infosec (Information security) aware.
- Help in making a career in networking and/or security engineering.
- Help in preparing for various infosec events like bug bounty programs which have prize money ranging from $500 to anywhere upto $350,000.
Our Plan
- Primarily research on and try to learn about different topics on security and networks.
- Reconstruct vulnerable applications and study various Hacking techniques.
- Participate in and Organise CTFs and other cybersecurity related competitions.

If you know cybersecurity, you have a job for life
The police can't protect consumers. People need to be more aware and educated about identity theft. You need to be a little bit wiser, a little bit smarter and there's nothing wrong with being skeptical. We live in a time when if you make it easy for someone to steal from you, someone will.
Rule 1: If you didn't go looking for it, don't install it. Rule 2: If you installed it, update it! Rule 3: If you no longer need it, remove it!
It is a fairly open secret that almost all systems can be hacked, somehow. It is a less spoken of secret that such hacking has actually gone quite mainstream.
